Four Titles

A select group of five teams — all on the girls’ side — have won each of the four competitions this season. With consistently strong performances over the last nine months, culminating with USYS Regional Championships last month, each team has shown it will be a strong contender to claim its respective USYS National Championship.

PAST NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

Five of the attending National League teams have claimed National Championships in the past*. They are led by 18U Boys LVSA 03 Silver (NV), which is a two-time defending champion (2019 and 2018) in the 2003 Boys age group and will be looking to capture the 18U Boys title this year.

In the 19U Boys age group, Solar 02B Sawyer (TX-N) will be out to capture the club’s third title in the 2002 Boys age group, after Solar SC finished on top of the age group in 2019 and 2017.

Elsewhere, 16U Boys Libertyville FC 1974 Elite 05 (IL) and 17U Boys Real Jersey FC 2004 (NJ) will each be looking to defend titles that they won at the 2019 National Championships, while 17U Boys SLSG 2004 Elite (MO) is out to capture another title after the club won the 13U Boys National Championship back in 2017.

*While each team’s club claimed titles in the specific age groups listed, player turnover from year to year may have resulted in this season’s teams having a differing roster compared to those teams that won in the past.
