FRISCO, Texas (July 13, 2021) — The team application period is now open for the 2021-2022 US Youth Soccer National League Showcase Series. Applications will be accepted through Oct. 1, 2021.

The National League Showcase Series offers a unique opportunity for teams to compete within a national platform that provides diverse cross-Conference matchups against teams from differing parts of the country. The Showcase Series events take place alongside National League P.R.O. games to maximize the scouting opportunities for attending college coaches.

In the 2021-22 season, the Showcase Series will hold competition for boys and girls teams in the 15U-18U age groups. The oldest age group will act as an 18U/19U age group to allow for interested 19U teams to attend and for 18U teams to add 19U players, if desired. Any 14U teams can apply but may be placed into 15U groups, if accepted, unless enough 14U teams show interest to allow for a 14U-specific group.

For each Showcase Series event, there is a single application form that can be filled out by any team interested in participating in that event.

Each team interested in attending a Showcase Series event should apply for only their top choice of event.

Note: Teams that have qualified for National League P.R.O., or that are accepted to P.R.O., meet the Showcase Series requirement and do not need to apply for the showcase events.

The Showcase Series will feature all 15U-18U teams in the top divisions of the National League Conferences that are not already competing in National League P.R.O. Teams in other divisions of the Conferences, as well as non-Conference teams, are also welcome to apply. Teams will be evaluated and accepted to each showcase event, based on event availability.

Teams will be accepted to events and notified of acceptance on a rolling basis through the end of the application period.
