FRISCO, Texas (May 24, 2022) — The US Youth Soccer National League is excited to announce its national event schedule for the 2022-23 season. These events will feature some of the most accomplished young players in the country competing in either National League P.R.O. league games or Elite 64 showcase games.

“We are very excited to work with these best-in-class venues to host the many talented National League players who will be competing at the highest level in can’t-miss environments for recruiting,” said Simon Collins, National League Commissioner. “These National League events — with top-level showcase matches featuring Elite 64 clubs, combined with National League P.R.O. teams playing in meaningful games to determine qualification to Nationals — will present players with an exciting and memorable experience while giving college coaches and professional scouts a great opportunity to find future members of their programs.”

With the national events featuring teams from the National League’s top team-centric model (National League P.R.O.) and top club-centric model (Elite 64), each event features a highly concentrated number of talented teams and top youth players capable of performing at the next level.

National League P.R.O.

All 14U teams in National League P.R.O. will compete in their first event in November in Round Rock, Texas, and compete in their second event in February in Tampa, Fla.

All 15U-19U teams in National League P.R.O. will compete in their first event in December in central Florida (venue to be announced at a later date). Half of the National League P.R.O. teams in the 15U-19U age groups will play in their second event in January in Mesa, Ariz. The remaining half of the 15U-19U National League P.R.O. teams will play their second event in their second event in March in Greensboro, N.C.

Teams that have automatically qualified for the 2022-23 season of National League P.R.O. will begin to be contacted with information on registering for the upcoming season. For any teams interested in applying to fill potential open slots for the 2022-23 season of National League P.R.O., an application period will open later this week.

Elite 64

All Elite 64 teams in the 13U and 14U age groups can play in showcase matches at the November events in Round Rock, Texas, and the February events in Tampa, Fla.

Elite 64 teams in the 15U-18/19U age groups can play in two of the following three showcase options: December in central Florida (venue to be announced at a later date); January in Mesa, Ariz.; or March in Greensboro, N.C. (For the 15U-18/19U age groups, clubs will rank their showcase preferences, and USYS will make the final showcase assignments.)

All Elite 64 teams (13U-18/19U age groups) compete in the Elite 64 National Finals, taking place in June/July in Oceanside, Calif.
