FRISCO, Texas (Oct. 6, 2021) — US Youth Soccer is excited to announce a partnership with Legacy Sports USA that will see the USYS National League Showcase Series events in Arizona take place in conjunction with the Legacy Sports USA College Soccer Showcase — enhancing the experience for all participating players and teams, as well as attending college coaches.
National League Arizona 2022 will see boys showcase teams compete March 11-13, while girls showcase teams compete March 18-20. All games will take place at the brand-new Bell Bank Park, Powered by Legacy Sports USA — a 320-acre world class family sports and entertainment park located in Mesa, Ariz.
“Legacy Sports USA has shown a dedication to making its facility a prime destination for the country’s top youth athletes, and we’re excited to be working more closely with their team ahead of our National League events in Arizona,” National League Commissioner Simon Collins said. “The collaboration will help to elevate the event and ensure even more teams have access to the outstanding atmosphere and college coach exposure.”
In addition to the showcase matches, National League Arizona will also serve as the final event weekends of the 2021-22 season of National League P.R.O., which provides the top teams in the country with a league format to play meaningful games as they vie for berths to the USYS National Championships. In Arizona, National League P.R.O. games will take place March 12-14 for the boys and March 19-21 for the girls.
In all, more than 250 teams are expected to compete during each weekend of National League Arizona.
The National League Showcase Series, which has multiple showcases that take place alongside National League P.R.O. events, offers a unique opportunity for National League Conference teams to test themselves in unique cross-conference matchups against opponents from differing parts of the country. The quality of National League teams in one location makes all National League Showcase Series weekends attractive to college coaches, and the combination with the Legacy Sports USA College Soccer Showcase will heighten the scouting opportunities for all attendees in Arizona.

In addition to National League Arizona, National League Florida will also feature National League Showcase Series matches. National League Florida takes place Feb. 4-7 in both Tampa, Fla. (Girls) and Lakewood Ranch, Fla. (Boys).
