FRISCO, Texas (July 1, 2021) — Teams from the US Youth Soccer National League produced standout results at the 2021 USYS Eastern Regional Championships in Hammonton, N.J., as they captured 11 of 14 Regional titles in the 13U-19U age groups.
The competition at the Eastern Regional Championships included teams from five different National League Conferences, Managed by EDP Soccer — the Great Lakes, Mid Atlantic, New England, North Atlantic and South Atlantic. In all, 47 of 56 semifinalists played in one of the conferences during the 2020-21 season, and 21 of the 28 finalists were conference teams.
The Mid Atlantic Conference led the way with five Eastern Regional Champions, along with three additional finalists and 19 total semifinalists. Two champions came from the New England Conference, which had two additional finalists and six total semifinalists. The South Atlantic Conference also had two champions, along with one other finalist and seven total semifinalists. The North Atlantic Conference had one champion, three additional finalists and nine total semifinalists, and the Great Lakes Conference had one champion, one additional finalist and six total semifinalists.

The 14 Eastern Regional Champions now advance to the 2021 USYS National Championships, which will be played July 20-25 at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
National League teams have a long history of success at the USYS National Championships. Between 2007 and 2019, teams that competed in the national tier of the National League captured a combined 77 of 100 possible USYS National Championships.
About the USYS National Championships
The USYS National Championships cap a yearlong series of competitions that comprise the USYS National Championship Series. Boys and girls teams in multiple age groups earn their way by competing against the top teams in their state and region. US Youth Soccer State Champions and selected wildcard teams are eligible to compete in one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships. The Regional Champions in the 13U through 19U age groups, along with the National League representatives in the 14U-19U age groups, converge at the National Championships to compete for the most prestigious National title in youth soccer.
