The National League Showcase Series offers a unique opportunity for National League Conference teams to compete within a national platform. Each showcase provides diverse cross-Conference matchups against teams from differing parts of the country — testing each player to adapt to various styles of play and new challenges that arise when facing uncommon opponents.
Group alignments based on Conference performance will create opportunities for evenly-matched and competitive games, which creates an optimal environment for scouting. Given the number of competitive teams and geographic diversity, the National League Showcase Series presents an invaluable opportunity for scouts from all levels — college, professional and international, along with US Youth Soccer ODP — to evaluate a large number of players who will become future key contributors to their programs.

Age Groups & Seeding
The National League Showcase Series will hold competition for boys and girls teams in the 15U-18U age groups. The oldest age group will act as an 18U/19U age group to allow for interested 19U teams to attend and for 18U teams to add 19U players, if desired. Any 14U teams can apply but may be placed into 15U groups, if accepted, unless enough 14U teams show interest to allow for a 14U-specific group.
A flexible seeding system is used for the National League Showcase Series. Seeding is based on teams’ most recent, or previous, Conference records and level of competition. Our objective is to match top teams in one Conference against top teams from the other Conferences, and the same objective applies to teams in the middle and lower half of Conference standings. National League Conference Managers will have oversight of the seeding process to ensure that teams are grouped properly.
