Elite 64 Playoffs represent the first stage of national events for Elite 64 teams. All Elite 64 teams are eligible to compete in the Playoffs, where knockout style competition will see top-performing teams advance to continue on the pathway toward the USYS National Championships.

Who Competes in the Elite 64 Playoffs
All Elite 64 teams are eligible to compete in the Elite 64 Playoffs, which include competition for boys and girls teams in the 13U*, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U and 19U age groups.
*The 13U age group’s pathway ends at the Elite 64 Playoffs.
Competition Format
For both boys and girls, each age group at the Elite 64 Playoffs features three pools (Champions, Silver, Wildcard). Teams are placed into the pools based on their performance in Elite 64 competition from the previous season, and all teams play a minimum of three games over three days. Games are primarily scheduled in a tournament/bracket format.
The Champions pool offers teams that highest likelihood of advancing to the next stage of national competitions — National League P.R.O. Silver pool teams have the next highest odds of advancing, followed by Wildcard pool teams. With one or more qualifying spots for each pool, every team attending the Elite 64 Playoffs enters with a chance to advance to National League P.R.O.
Please note: The number of teams attending either Playoff event may dictate the format and advancement criteria to be modified. The 13U age group’s pathway ends at the Elite 64 Playoffs.
