The National League is excited to expand our National League Futures offerings to teams and clubs throughout Mississippi and the Gulf Coast Region. Please review the below information regarding how the program will function.

Program Structure NL Futures MS State Cup Qualifying League:
- The team entry fee is $200/team for the NL Futures MS State Cup Qualifying League
- This includes event support, league administration, and referee assigning fees.
- Referee fees will be split by each team and paid directly to the referees before the match begins.
- The spring season will consist of two Conference Hosted play dates, with the goal of at least two games per play date.
- Spring 2025 Season Play Dates for National League Futures
- February 8th, 2025 – JFC
- April 12th, 2025 – Location TBD
- If your club/team is unavailable to play on one of those dates, the games will be subject to the below reschedule process:
- Once the schedule is released, teams will have a seven (7) day reschedule window to move any games they cannot play
- The team requesting the reschedule will propose three (3) play dates/locations to the opposing team, and the opposing team can either accept one of those dates/location or propose another date/location.
- Once a new date is agreed, please send the new game information to Matt Dellaria at mdellaria@usyouthsoccer.org.
- In-season rescheduling will be for emergencies only and at the discretion of the National League Futures manager. If approved, in-season reschedules will follow the above procedures.
- For the Spring 2025 season, National League Futures will be open to any team that would like to register. There is no limit on the minimum or maximum number of teams a club can register.
- National League Futures will offer the below age groups in both boys and girls:
- U9 (7v7)
- U10 (7v7)
- U11 (9v9)
- U12 (9v9 in Fall; 11v11 in the Spring)
- The National League Futures Program will operate with an unlimited player pool for teams
- All players must be registered with USYS and possess a valid USYS Player Pass
- All players must be added to the NL Futures Roster but there are unlimited roster spots
- The National League Futures Program will conclude its Spring 2025 season with the 2025 Mississippi State Cup U9-U12
- Entry fee into the 2025 Mississippi State Cup U9-U12 is not included in the team entry fee.
- League Standings can be used for seeding purposes and/or teams can participate in the Mississippi State Cup qualifying weekend event.
Program Structure NL Futures Events:
In addition to the MS State Cup qualifying league play, National League Futures will be putting on events around the region that teams can sign up for. As of now, National League Futures will be hosting the below two events, and potentially more. The cost will be $100 per team, per event. This cost does not cover referee fees for games (ref fees will be split by teams for each game)
Club/Team Responsibilities
- The National League Futures Program is a team-based program that is intended to provide participating teams with a localized and professionally managed league environment to facilitate player development.
- It is expected that participating teams appropriately utilize the unlimited player pool to place players in an appropriate game day environment for their specific level of development.
- Teams are responsible for working in good faith with other participating National League Futures Teams to facilitate league games.
- Teams are expected to provide a designated point of contact for their National League Futures Teams.
- Teams are expected to provide access to fields and referee assignors as needed.
