FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 31, 2022) — The US Youth Soccer National League is excited to announce ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort as the host location for the 15U-19U teams’ first national event of the upcoming season in December. Boys and Girls teams from both National League P.R.O. and Elite 64 will have the opportunity to compete at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, a facility featuring 17 multi-purpose fields and nearly 700,000 square feet of playing space.
Each weekend of National League competition will see more than 300 teams competing at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The event kicks off with the boys teams playing Dec. 1-5, followed by the girls teams playing Dec. 8-12. Walt Disney World Resort also hosted National League P.R.O. during the 2021-22 season, and the 2022 USYS National Championships in July.
There will also be games played at a secondary complex on the Saturday of each weekend, when all attending teams will be in action.
National League Orlando 2022 will include all boys and girls teams in the 15U-19U age groups of National League P.R.O. playing league games in their first event of the season. Boys and girls teams from select Elite 64 clubs will compete in showcase matches in the 15U, 16U, 17U and 18/19U age groups.

“We are very excited to work with ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex — one of the premier sites for amateur sports in the nation — to host some of the most accomplished young players in the country in the 15U through 19U age groups,” said Simon Collins, National League Commissioner. “National League Orlando — with top-level showcase matches featuring Elite 64 clubs, combined with National League P.R.O. teams playing in meaningful games to determine qualification to Nationals — will present all players with an exciting opportunity, and the experience will be elevated by the atmosphere created when competing at a world-class facility.”
National League Orlando features teams from the National League’s top team-centric model (National League P.R.O.) and top club-centric model (Elite 64). The two weekends will feature a highly concentrated number of talented boys and girls teams, and top youth players, capable of performing at the next level. The events in December will add to a history between the National League and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex that has served as a location for the country’s top young players to showcase their skills in front of college coaches and scouts.
“Any sports facility would love to host prestigious competitions such as USYS National League P.R.O. and Elite 64, so that’s why we’re thrilled to welcome the many talented players and teams to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex,’’ said Disney Sports vice president Faron Kelley. “This event aligns perfectly with our growing list of soccer events, creating even more opportunities for America’s youth soccer players to make their youth sports dreams come true.’’
