“We are excited to launch the Northern Frontier Conference Qualifier and provide a regional league experience to more teams in Arkansas and Oklahoma,” said Matt Dellaria, League Manager for the Frontier Conference. “This league will be a proving ground for teams as they compete to earn their place in the Frontier Conference. With the schedule being predominately event-based, the league will offer the security and ease of schedule of a club-based league while maintaining the flexibility offered by a team-based league.”
Clubs that will have teams participating in the inaugural season of the Northern Frontier Conference Qualifier for the include: Sporting Arkansas, Little Rock Rangers, Arkansas Comets, Arkansas Rising, Sporting Oklahoma, Tulsa Blitz, Midwest City Soccer Club, Oklahoma Energy, and Tulsa Soccer Club. Any team interested in playing in the North Frontier Conference Qualifier can fill out an application for the 2023-24 season.
The Northern Frontier Conference Qualifier will be one of two leagues for each gender with direct qualification into the top divisions of the Frontier Conference, joining the recently announced North Texas Conference Qualifiers. The growing number of Conference Qualifier leagues help to solidify the National League pathway, which can begin at the state level and proceed to the highest national levels.
