Past experiences suggest Columbus United G10 Lions (OH) will be a top contender for the Champions Pool title in Tampa. The defending USYS National Champions won all three games at the Conference Playoffs and did so without conceding a goal. They’ll look to continue their winning ways at National League P.R.O.
Columbus will be joined in Tampa by two more teams that went unbeaten at the Conference Playoffs, as BVB IA Pittsburgh 10G Premier (PA-W) and Team Challenger FC G10 Black (OH) will each look to build off strong performances.
North Shore United 10G Blue (WI) also brings plenty of confidence to Tampa after it won the champions pool at the Elite 64 Playoffs. The title game featured a tight 2-1 win against WNY Flash Rochester 10G Elite 64 (NY-W), which will be another team to watch during the National League P.R.O. action in Tampa.
Wildcard Pool
After proving itself over the course of four wins in four days at the Elite 64 Playoffs, Elmbrook United 10G Elite 64 (WI) will look to continue to make a name for itself during the action in Tampa. Coppermine SC 10G Elite 64 (MD) also enjoyed a strong showing at the Elite 64 Playoffs. After a narrow loss to eventual champions pool winner North Shore United, the Maryland side won back-to-back games and finished with a plus-four goal differential for the event.
