PHOENIX, Ariz. (Nov. 22, 2022) — The US Youth Soccer Desert Conference completed two exciting events in the Phoenix, Ariz., area over the past two weekends. The Desert Conference gameplay featured both Club vs. Club action, as well as Team vs. Team competition, while the Yellowstone Conference Qualifier divisions were also in action in Arizona.
As one of the 13 conferences in the USYS National League, the Desert Conference provides teams with the opportunity to compete in league games for the chance to advance directly to the 2023 USYS Far West Regional Championships. Additionally, conference teams can earn automatic qualification for the 2023-24 season of USYS National League P.R.O.
After an unbeaten 7-0-0 season, Impact United 2011 Girls are excited for the Regional Championships and looking forward to the prospect of advancing in the National League in future years.
“The Desert Conference was a great event for us,” said Impact United 11 Girls coach Paul Proctor. “We played a number of teams that pushed us, and we enjoyed the organization and quality of the event. We are so excited for Regionals and National League P.R.O.!”

A tight bunch at the top of the 13U Girls standings saw Utah Surf 10 JR finish on top with three wins and two draws. Utah Storm 2010 Robinson and MetaSport FC 10G AB both finished two points back after play in Arizona.
FC Hawaii 09G went unbeaten to finish with 19 points from seven games and claim the top spot in the 14U Girls age group.
L30 FC Shock – G08 JM and Utah Storm 2008 Girls – Yeates each went 4-0-0 in Arizona and are tied atop the 15U Girls standings. They’ll meet in February in a key matchup.
In the 16U Girls age group, Utah Surf 07 BH recorded the lone 3-0-0 start to the season while scoring 17 goals and conceding none.
Utah Celtic FC G06 MB is the only team with an unblemished record in the 17U Girls age group, as it recorded a 17-to-0 goal differential through three games.
DASC 2005 Girls and FC Leonas each started with three wins and a draw in 18U/19U Girls action, and the two sides are currently tied atop the standings. Dakota has a significant goal differential advantage thanks to a strong showing on both ends of the field.

Aggies FC 09B Blue split its games in Arizona to remain on top of the 14U Boys standings. However, the loss came to Las Vegas Diversity FC 09, which is just three points back with two games in hand.
In the 15U Boys age group, Players 08 Elite Boys secured three wins and a draw to make an early move to the top of the standings.
Three wins to start the season have La Roca – J Milla in first place in the 16U Boys age group, ahead of several teams just a few points behind.
Las Vegas Pros 2006 has a narrow lead in the 17U Boys age group, with Downtown LVSC 06 Gold just one point back.
LVSA 05 Boys Red and Impact United BA 05 each picked up 10 points from four games to move to the top of the 18U Boys standings, but LVSA currently has a significant edge in goal differential.
In the 19U Boys age group, LVSA 04 Boys Red went 3-0-0 and capped its weekend in Arizona with a big win over second-place MetaSport FC 04B LC.

In the 13U Boys age group, Albion SC San Diego North B10 Academy narrowly came away with four wins from four games, as each of its victories came by just a one-goal margin.
Playmaker Futbol Academy 09 Elite is in first place in the 14U Boys age group after a 3-0-0 start, which included a pair of clean sheets to begin its season.
Goal differential is all that separated Tuzos Academy 08 and CCV STARS 08 Boys Orange PEO at the top of the 15U Boys standings. Both sides went 3-0-1, but Tuzos netted three more goals to help it gain the goal differential advantage.
Tuzos Academy 07 Jonathan (AH) finished on top of the 16U Boys standings with a 4-0-0 record. A 1-0 victory against CCV STARS 07 Boys Orange PEO served as the deciding factor, as CCV finished just three points back. The 17U Boys age group saw a similar story, as a one-goal victory for Tuzos Academy 06 VC in its win over CCV STARS 06 Boys PEO helped Tuzos to a 4-0-0 mark and a top finish in the standings.
Tuzos Academy 05 (JC) finished a sweep for the club in the older age groups, as it finished with four wins from as many games to top the 19U Boys standings.
In the 16U/17U Girls age group, Albion SC San Diego North G07 Academy secured two wins and a draw to top the group. Phoenix 06G has a game in hand but needs to make up a significant Albion advantage in goal differential to overtake first place.
CCV STARS 04/05 Girls PEO left no doubt in the 19U Girls age group, as it won all four of its games without conceding a single goal.
